Funny questions to ask your partner
Not every question needs to do work. A relationship where every conversation is an audit is exhausting, and the couples who last are usually the ones who are still funny at each other after a decade. These questions have no purpose beyond that.
They are still better than the average list, in that the answers are unpredictable. The failure mode of funny questions is that they are funny to read and dull to answer, so anything here that could be answered in one word has been left out.
The how-well-do-you-know-me round in the middle is the one that reliably causes trouble at parties. Both of you write your answer and your guess at the other person’s answer, and score it. Nobody scores as well as they expect.
Ridiculous hypotheticals
The good kind of pointless. These reward a bit of commitment to the premise.

Keep asking without having to remember
The hard part of this is not the questions, it is the habit. Most couples read a list like this, have one good conversation, and never open it again. HeartTap exists mainly to remove that failure: it sends one question at a time to both of you, and hides each answer until you have both written yours, so neither of you drifts toward agreeing with the other.

Frequently asked questions
What are good funny questions to ask your partner?
Ones that cannot be answered in a single word. The usual problem with funny question lists is that they are entertaining to read and boring to answer, so look for prompts that require someone to commit to a premise and build on it rather than just naming a preference.
How do you play the how well do you know me round?
Both of you write your own answer and your guess at the other person’s, then reveal together. Revealing at the same time matters, since whoever goes second will unconsciously adjust. Most couples score considerably worse than they expect, which is the entertaining part.
Are funny questions actually good for a relationship?
They are underrated. Shared humour is one of the more reliable markers in couples who stay together, and relationships rarely fail because two people never discussed their childhood wounds. They fail because it stopped being fun. This list is maintenance too.
What if my partner finds these awkward?
Answer first, and answer badly. Awkwardness usually comes from feeling put on the spot, and it disappears the moment the other person has already made a fool of themselves. Start with the ridiculous hypotheticals rather than the embarrassing section.
One question a day, answered together
